He is also a playable character in the multiplayer horror game in Dead by Daylight. In the Resistance game mode, Nemesis became a playable character available if the player chooses Nicholai Ginovaef as the mastermind. In the movies, Nemesis was deployed to not only kill S.T.A.R.S members as in the games, but to combat Alice (who had also been turned into a bio-weapon) to see which of them was superior. His purpose is to seek out and kill remaining members of S.T.A.R.S. Nemesis is one of the two (the other being T-A.L.O.S.) greatest of not only the Tyrants, but all bio-weapons created by the Umbrella Corporation, being far smarter, stronger and able to take orders. He is the titular main antagonist of the 1999 survival horror video game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and its 2020 remake, one of the main antagonists of Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, a supporting antagonist in the non-canon spin-off Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and the secondary antagonist of the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse.
